Carlos Gonzalez, chief information officer, has nearly two decades of experience in information technology, including 11 years in health care. Gonzalez recently served as vice president and chief information officer of information services at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital, one of the largest hospitals on Long Island and is recognized by US News & World Report’s 2019-2020 as a Best Regional Hospital. Gonzalez’s healthcare experience includes the software company Allscripts, where he served as the vice president of hosting solutions which supported 70+ hospitals and several thousand physician offices across the country through multiple data centers and hundreds of applications. His background managing large-scale systems and operations has helped several organizations grow and achieve advancements in technology, including projects to increase stability and improve performance while reducing risk.
