Bios

Kevin McConnell, Esq. – Director Advanced Technology

Kevin manages Epiq’s Advanced Technology team advising clients regarding the use of predictive technologies and analytics tools to reduce and organize record populations.  He also serves as a subject matter expert with respect to the development and implementation of Epiq’s privilege review workflows and technologies.  Kevin is an experienced veteran of eDiscovery with a strong balance of technical and legal skills.

Jon Lavinder – Director, Product Management

Jon Lavinder is a leader on the Epiq Product Management team. He manages the portfolio of machine learning and analytic tools used by Epiq for Artificial Intelligence, Early Case Assessment, Machine Translation, Machine Transcription, Privilege AI, text-message and chat discovery, and Technology-Assisted Review. Jon launched Epiq’s highly successful Case Insights service in 2021 – a class-leading early case assessment and discovery triage service. In his role he is responsible for product line strategy, roadmaps/product lifecycles, go-to-market strategy, and solution partnerships. Jon is a frequent speaker at industry events.
