Epiq Expert to Speak at the 11th Annual Private Antitrust Enforcement Conference

Lauren McGeever, director of class action solutions at Epiq, will speak on a panel entitled “International - Private Antitrust Enforcement Around the Globe,” on Nov. 7 at 3:30 p.m. The panel will address developments in the prosecution and defense of private antitrust actions in areas outside the U.S. Discussion topics will include: emerging venues of choice, including pleading standards, and jurisdiction and statute of limitation considerations; availability of class or collective litigation; challenges presented by differing approaches to discovery, contingent fee representation, the “loser pays” rule, and litigation funding; and managing and settling multi-jurisdiction litigation, including notice and settlement administration.
