While the Department appreciates Epiq’s technology and their ability to wield it effectively, the Director puts more emphasis on the people and processes. “We are satisfied and happy with all of the technology,” he elaborates, “but it is really the workflows that we have, and the people that we work with that make it happen. Anybody could offer the same technology that Epiq is using. Our relationship with Epiq, our workflows, our best practices, and all the experience that Epiq has in working with us over the years, those are the key drivers of what makes our relationship successful today.”
The Epiq Managed Services agreement and team has always been able to meet the Department’s needs. “We revisit whether we need to grow teams or add resources to our managed services environment occasionally,” the Director concludes. “We may have stressed resources a little bit at times, but never to the point where they couldn’t scale it. We are super satisfied with the Epiq team, their work, and the relationship we have with them.”
