Kathryn Tran is a consulting director in corporate restructuring for Epiq. Ms. Tran manages first day motion noticing issues, compilation of creditor’s matrix, preparation of Schedule of Assets and Liabilities and Statement of Financial Affairs in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy filings, preparation of monthly operating reports and management of debtors’ claims reconciliation and objection processes and distribution needs, as well as preference analysis for potential clawbacks from creditors. She undertakes the process for single debtors to complex multiple debtor cases.
Ms. Tran has more than 18 years’ experience in case management services established from a legal and analytical background. Prior to joining Epiq, Ms. Tran was senior managing consultant at XRoads Solutions Group and Avant Advisory Group, where she provided management and litigation support for complex fraud and due diligence cases. She was also a senior consultant in bankruptcy and restructuring for Arthur Andersen, and worked in Sydney, Australia for Arthur Andersen and Hall Chadwick.
Ms. Tran holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Business in accounting & finance from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. She is a member of the State Bar of California and a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California. She is also an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).
