Abbas Najarali empowers legal teams to reduce the time, cost, and complexity of operations. He concentrates on how teams can embed automation and AI across workflows, from intake through delivery, particularly how best to sequence transformation initiatives to maximize measurable efficiency gains without disrupting service.
Prior to Epiq, Abbas served as Director, Financial Advisory at Deloitte, leading multidisciplinary teams supporting cyber investigations, eDiscovery, and regulatory matters while developing integrated discovery and forensic solutions.
His experience encompasses cross-functional programs that integrate operations, technology, and client services, including an automation framework that has scaled to streamline operational tasks and a digital transformation program with structured intake, prioritization, and performance measurement. This includes leading managed services delivery models, establishing standardized client playbooks and service level agreements (SLAs), and aligning technology investments with operational outcomes.
Abbas received an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. An active member of the Canadian Digital Evidence and eDiscovery Working Group, he is also among the professionals selected for inclusion in the 2026 Lexology Index in the Consulting Digital and Data category as an expert in data and eDiscovery.
