CALGARY/TORONTO – June 10, 2025 – Epiq announced today Epiq Counsel Canada, an extension of the flexible legal talent solution Epiq already provides to clients in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. 

Epiq Counsel provides interim support for in-house legal teams through its roster of experienced lawyers, paralegals, contract negotiators, and legal operations experts. Clients use Epiq Counsel when the workflow of the department exceeds its capacity due to spikes in business activity, M&A transactions, regulatory events, or gaps in the department due to attrition or leaves.

As part of the expansion of Epiq Counsel into Canada, the operations of Simplex Legal LLP, an independent law firm exclusively affiliated with Epiq, will transition to Epiq Counsel Canada. Anoop Dogra, who had led Simplex will lead Epiq Counsel Canada as Managing Director.
