Geneviève Bertrand Vice President, Class Action Solutions

Geneviève works with legal teams, corporate stakeholders, and external partners to reduce risk and achieve successful outcomes in complex class actions and regulatory and litigation matters. Her work centers on collaborating with clients to develop effective strategies and processes for contentious matters. Geneviève has over fifteen years of experience in class actions, commercial litigation, and regulatory compliance, as well as strategic decision-making, financial stewardship, operational leadership, and executive influence. 

Geneviève has spent much of her career advising organizations on high-stakes disputes, regulatory requirements, and risk management, particularly class action strategy, litigation readiness, compliance considerations, and cross-border matters. Her litigation experience includes representing clients in multijurisdictional class actions, securities investigations, and proceedings before all levels of court in Québec, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Juris Doctor from McGill University and completed studies in European and International Law at the University of Copenhagen. Geneviève is called to the Québec and Ontario bars.
