Verdeja Nominated for the 2026 Women Leaders in Tech Award

LONDON, 4 Sept. 2026 — Epiq today announced that Legal Geek has named Beatriz Verdeja, Advanced Technologies Consultant at Epiq, a finalist for the Women Leaders in Tech Award as part of the 2026 Legal Geek Leaders in Tech Law Awards.

The award recognises nominees who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and contributions to the legal technology sector through measurable business impact, experience, innovations, and efforts to advance greater inclusion across the industry.

With 13 years of eDiscovery experience, Verdeja applies legal knowledge and technical expertise to deliver defensible solutions in investigative, regulatory, and legal matters for corporations and law firms. She has led more than 100 advanced technology projects, of which over 15 involved AI, and more than 40 review workflows, including the creation and management of review teams, frequently over 60 people.

Verdeja also advances legal technology talent, particularly women, through mentorship and training. She is a member of Women in eDiscovery and one of the leaders of the ongoing effort to establish a Zurich chapter of the association, which would provide a new platform for female professionals to connect and build market presence.
