Jon Kessler Vice President and General Manager, Information Governance

Jon Kessler is Vice President and General Manager of Information Governance within Legal Solutions at Epiq, where he leads a global team focusing on unlocking the value of Microsoft Purview through a Responsible AI and Copilot Readiness set of service lines. They include advisory services related to Microsoft Copilot, data governance, data migration, legal hold and preservation, data privacy, insider risk management, records management, data security, and M&A data process management.

Under his leadership the team has been recognized as Microsoft Compliance Partner of the Year as a finalist in 2022 and 2024 and as the winner in 2023. During Jon’s most recent tenure as VP and GM his team has doubled in size and revenues, and deeply aligned the Information Governance solution lines with Microsoft products.

Jon has extensive experience working on complex projects across heavily regulated industries and often provides formal AI, compliance, forensics, and eDiscovery training to government agencies and Fortune 500 companies.

Before joining Epiq in 2011, Jon held senior leadership roles at two global data forensic and collection firms, led more than 600 forensic examinations, and oversaw many others. Jon has served as an expert witness in both federal and state courts and is a regular speaker at legal and compliance technology conferences as well as continuing legal education (CLE) accredited programs.
