“There’s more to cybersecurity than software, and savvy clients are demanding that their law firms secure their data against increasing threats of cybercrime,” said Dutton. “Attorneys and technologists alike must both understand the processes, software, and hardware best practices to protect their own – and their clients’ – data.”

  • John G. Loughnane, partner, Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP (moderator)
  • David Fisher, founder and CEO, Integra Ledger
  • Rebecca Fruchtman, senior vice president and assistant general counsel, Bank of America Merrill Lynch
  • Elizabeth B. Vandesteeg, partner, Sugar Felsenthal Grais & Helsinger LLP

Panelists will discuss the digital transformation taking place in the legal industry as cybercriminals are increasingly seeing law firms as targets for cybercrime. This panel of experts will discuss the current state of cybersecurity, as well as best practices for how to protect yourself from and respond to a cybersecurity attack. They will also explore how blockchain technology may be a tool of the future to keep data secure.
