Brien Van Wagner Director of Client Services

Brien Van Wagner is a Director of Client Services for Epiq.  He manages a team of project management professionals, provides substantive oversight for client-specific projects and manages day-to-day eDiscovery activities.  Brien assists law firms and corporate clients, providing strategic and tactical guidance to deliver best practices in eDiscovery and ensure all tasks are executed effectively.  For over a decade, Brien’s team has managed several of Epiq’s key corporate relationships, providing custom industry-tailored solutions to effectively meet their needs.  Combined, his team is responsible for supporting over 200 projects for Fortune 100 clients.  Brien and his team also bring a breadth of experience supporting Second Requests with the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, as well as Supplementary Information Requests (“SIRs”) with the Canada Competition Bureau.  Brien has successfully overseen 20 Second Requests/SIRs during his tenure at Epiq.  Prior to joining Epiq, Brien worked as a Staff Attorney at Skadden, where he managed all stages of document review and production across multiple platforms for complex, multi-party government and civil litigations.  He holds a J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, and graduated cum laude from Binghamton University, with a B.A. in English and Philosophy, Politics and Law.  Brien is admitted to practice in New York State.
