Bishan Yang Senior Vice President, AI, Legal Solutions

Bishan Yang is Senior Vice President of AI and co-leads Epiq AI Labs.  

Bishan is a computer scientist and entrepreneur and has spent more than a decade advancing AI and machine learning, with a focus on transforming complex data into actionable insight.  

She earned her Ph.D. from Cornell and has conducted research at Carnegie Mellon, Microsoft Research, and Google Research. Recognized as a Rising Star in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) in 2016, Yang has combined technical expertise with a track record of bringing AI innovations into real-world practice.  

Prior to joining Epiq, she co-founded LAER AI, where she helped develop AI technologies used in litigation, investigations, and regulatory workflows. In her current role, she leads the development and integration of AI capabilities across products and services, helping drive AI strategy and deliver scalable, differentiated solutions for clients.
