Julie is the Senior Director of Fulfillment at Epiq Counsel, with over 20 years of experience in the legal industry, both as an lawyer and as an expert in the legal secondment practice. For the last five years, Julie has served as a trusted guide and consultant, ensuring that clients' legal challenges are met when faced with an immediate need for experienced and skilled legal talent.
As a business-focused legal professional, Julie’s expertise is grounded in her 13 years as a practicing transactional lawyer at an AM Law 200 Firm, where she was deeply embedded in client teams, and gained an understanding of what it takes to drive transactions forward. From there, Julie transitioned within the legal industry and undertook a recruiting role at a highly respected Chicago-area recruiting agency, where she developed a strong understanding of the wide range of practice area needs and skillsets for both law firms and large in-house legal teams. This combination of experiences led Julie to the Epiq Counsel team, where she has been leading the Fulfillment group since 2020. As a Fulfillment Director, Julie listens carefully to clients to assess the gaps in their legal team, provide relevant insight and industry analysis, and use this client-provided information to best align the client with excellent legal talent that will meet these needs.
Julie is located in the Chicago area. Julie received a BA, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, and a JD from Northwestern University School of Law.
