Alexander Smith Associate Director, Document Review Services

Alec is Associate Director with Epiq’s Document Review Services team, and he helps manage and oversee Epiq’s Antitrust and Global Investigations practice group. Alec mentors, develops, and trains review managers on the team and serves as a direct point of escalation for clients. Alec has significant experience in government investigation matters, including oversight of over twenty Second Requests and numerous antitrust litigations, 4(c) reviews, DOJ/FTC CID responses, and ITAR investigations. He focuses on best practices and implementation of efficient review workflows, quality control efforts, and creation of privilege logs. Based in Washington, DC, Alec received his B.A. from William & Mary and his J.D. from American University. Alec is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist, Relativity Review Management Specialist, and Certified Brainspace Analyst/Specialist.
