Eric is a senior director at Epiq. He brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of business, technology, and law. In 2017, Eric joined Fireman (acquired by Epiq in 2023) as director of technology and has led initiatives across legal, insurance, and corporate services as a change manager, software architect, and lead developer.
Eric has emerged as an industry luminary in implementing legal search platforms. He's been at the helm of the industry's largest implementations of iManage Insight and Upland BAInsight. He focuses on Microsoft Azure Cognitive Search and the broader Azure ecosystem to help law firms unlock the power of knowledge.
As Epiq’s data practice lead, Eric builds enterprise data platforms and data lakes using Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric. His work enables law firms to adopt data-driven strategies and apply analytics to legal workflows.
Eric also advises the world’s largest law firms on data and technology roadmaps. He partners with firm leadership to shape strategies that align with evolving technologies and deliver measurable impact.
Most recently, Eric joined the Epiq Generative AI task force to take advantage of the power of these incredible technologies within the traditional use cases of legal search, data, and knowledge management.
